Welcome to Reindeer Dreams! There are few things like the joy we feel at Christmastime. It really is the most wonderful time of the year. I hope to inspire you to be creative and have a little  fun while you plan for the upcoming holiday season.

Christmas is my favorite holiday.  It’s a time to think about family and friends and those we hold close.  As the season grows near, the days seem to become a little brighter and smiles more plentiful as we plan for holiday gatherings with friends and family.  The starry nights and sparkling lights inspire us to slow down a little and simply enjoy the sights and sounds all around us.  The generosity of the human spirit can be seen at its best when perfect strangers reach out to those who might be a little less able or feeling the pinch of these economic times and offer a smile, a kind thought or prayer, or even Christmas dinner and a few gifts to boot.

I live in the Midwest and evidence of the upcoming Christmas season is showing up all around.   Stores have set up Christmas displays, magazines with decorating ideas and cookie recipes are on stands and catalogs have arrived.  I am both excited and inspired to start thinking about my own celebration plans for the year.
