There’s something special in the air this time of year. Exactly three Sunday’s from today, millions around the world will celebrate Easter, marking the resurrection of Christ. Leading up to this day we’ll also celebrate the first day of spring when trees and plants grace us with their unimaginable beauty and color our lives for one more season. Shortly after comes Palm Sunday, the Jewish festival of Passover and Good Friday.
I like to take both a serious and whimsical approach to the season. I can’t wait to get my hands on a bunch of daffodils, see purple irises and smell the unforgettable aroma of hyacinths. It’s also generally the last time to pull out holiday decorations until the fall.
