Goodbye Summer…Well Almost

It’s hard to believe we’re less than one month away from the official beginning of fall!  Fall officially begins on Wednesday, September 23.  This means we’re moving toward longer nights and shorter days.  It also means fall and winter holidays are just around the corner.  Halloween decorations are already moving into full swing at stores in my neighborhood.  On the way home from the gym yesterday I saw lighted pumpkins and fall themed table settings in the window at Pier 1.  By the end of September, lush Christmas decorations will begin popping up in department stores and holiday catalogs of all sort will begin to overflow mailboxes everywhere.  Tucked in between the two is Thanksgiving, the biggest food holiday of the year.  Who’s cooking this year?

Yep, hold onto your hats, there are only 118 days until Christmas!
